CROSS Services is a non-profit 501(c)(3) social services organization. Moreover, we assist local families and individuals in need, with an emphasis on ending hunger through access to healthy food. We serve Rogers, Maple Grove, Osseo, Corcoran, Dayton, and Champlin (West of 169) communities of Minnesota. In addition, we have special outreach programs in Albertville and St. Michael. CROSS Services is supported by community donations and volunteerism. Our organization is also governed by a volunteer board of directors.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide mercy and aid to those in our community who are seeking help by providing compassionate and supportive services and programs.

CROSS exemplifies people:

  • Helping people
  • Collaborating to strengthen community
  • Whose words and actions create hope and bring joy

History of CROSS

CROSS was incorporated in 1977 as a collaborative community effort to provide food and clothing to low income families. In 2004, CROSS moved from a small warehouse in Osseo to Rogers. Thus, a 12,000 sq. ft. building was constructed to support the increasing services provided by CROSS.

As the number of people seeking our services rapidly grew, we then recognized the need to address the underlying issues causing families to require help. In 2013, CROSS added family advocate staff to meet with every family coming for services in order to break the crisis circle.

Today, CROSS Services provides food, housing assistance, workforce development, programs for kids, etc. to local families experiencing financial crisis or with low incomes. We serve more than 14,000 people annually in our community.

Family Advocates

Equally important, our services include one-on-one support with individuals and families. Family Advocates connect guests to various resources, referrals and other agencies, depending on need. CROSS Services advocates work to reduce the impact of poverty by working side-by-side with families during times of need. They are skilled in listening, encouraging families from a strength perspective, advocating, and provide Trauma-Informed Care. We build relationships that generate life changes!

Thank you to all who help!
