More than half of the individuals receiving support at CROSS are children and young adults. The Holiday Toy Shop, Clothing Closet, and Food Shelf make the winter months a little warmer for CROSS kids and their families.
Families looking for winter clothing are invited to visit the CROSS Clothing Closet for jackets, mittens, boots, and more. Clothing is very affordable at $.50 a pound, free vouchers available through family advocates.
The CROSS Holiday Toy Shop is for parents/guardians of children birth through 18 years of age needing extra support during the holiday season. Starting the first week of November, parents/guardians are encouraged to stop by CROSS to register for the annual CROSS Holiday Toy Shop on December 19 when they can choose gifts for their children.
Last year, more than 900 children were signed up to receive gifts through the annual program.
Visit the food shelf to choose a 10-15 day supply of food in a grocery store type setting. Meet with a family advocate to learn more about available resources.
No appointment necessary to obtain services at CROSS. The last walk-in appointment is one hour before closing. Please bring a current piece of dated mail within the last 30 days with your name and address.
