Community members are invited to an evening at The Woods of Maple Grove for a Girls Night Out event 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015 to support local individuals and families in need.
“CROSS is delighted to once again be partnering with The Woods Gifts to bring a fun night of shopping and entertainment to the Maple Grove community. What a great way to see some of the best Maple Grove has to offer and support CROSS Food Shelf,” said CROSS Board Chairperson and Event Lead Toni Olson. “The programs CROSS provides to our community are made possible by the generous support of our community neighbors and business owners like Dave and Linda Looney.”
During the event at The Woods, located at 15825 95th Ave. N. in Maple Grove, attendees receive a free gift with a minimum $10 donation to CROSS Services. For those shopping during the event, 10 percent of the proceeds benefit CROSS Services. Scheduled evening activities include wine and hors d’oeuvres, shopping specials, fall decorating tips, live music by Barbara English, and more.
“We find Girls Night Out for CROSS a great opportunity for all of us in the community to shop, save, and have some fun to raise money and awareness for CROSS Services,” The Woods Owner Dave Looney said.
